SUMMARY:Talking to Your Children About Sex and Sexuality
DESCRIPTION:Giving children a safe\, clear\, biblical vision for and understanding of sex and sexuality is an important part of parenting\, and it’s something many parents feel ill-equipped to do. \nIf you are the parent of an elementary or preschool age child\, or are expecting a child\, please join us on Saturday\, April 25\, for a Family Equipping Forum on Talking With Your Children About Sex and Sexuality. Our hope is to help equip parents with a healthy understanding of sex and sexuality and how to enstill that in their little ones\, even in their earliest years of life. Our time will be led by Jenna Mountain of Aspen Haus Associates. Jenna is a liscensed counselor and certififed sex therapist. She loves the Lord\, holds fast to God’s design for sex and sexuality and specializes in both helping people heal from sexual brokenness. She is passionate about equipping parents to have the right conversations with their children in the right way at the right time. \nWe will host this forum on Zoom. You will receive the link after you register. Feel free to invite friends\, family members or neighbors from outside our church to join us as well. Our Student Ministry is part of our Next Gen Ministry and is led by trained adult leaders\, our groups meet to foster community\, accountability and friendships.

DESCRIPTION:In our Student Ministry (6th-12th grade)\, we seek to keep building gospel maturity in our students and help them grow in deeper relationships with each other\, their leaders and\, most importantly\, the Lord. On Wednesday nights each week from 6:15pm-8:30pm our students gather together. We begin each night serving dinner\, and then our students come together for a collective time of worship and teaching.
