We pursue and live in community through Home Groups. Made up of men and women from all generations of life, these groups meet throughout the week for fellowship, care, prayer, accountability, sharing stories and studying God’s Word. They’re a place where we work to obey God's word together and consider each other over ourselves. No group is perfect, and no two groups are exactly the same. We don’t expect them to be. Because people are messy, groups are messy.
Restoration groups give men and women a safe place to pursue redemption in Christ from sin and suffering. The issues addressed in these groups fall into three broad categories: suffering primarily as a result of a person's sin (ex. addictions), suffering primarily as a result of a person being sinned against (ex. abuse) and suffering primarily as a result of a person living in a fallen world (ex. grief).
For those who are struggling through a season of specific trouble such as grief, addiction, despair or anxiety, we provide a weekly support group. On Tuesday evenings from 7:00-9:00 p.m., support groups gather to encourage and pray for those who are suffering. The groups meet every week throughout the semester, taking breaks for holidays. No registration is required. For more information, contact Beth Broom ( ).
Finding a Group
Throughout the year, we host an event called GroupConnect. The hope of this event is to connect you into a group where you can find a place to live in community. GroupConnect gives you the opportunity to meet different group leaders and to sign up for a group in your area. If you have additional questions please contact Roy Onyebetor.
