Lent is a season of preparation and repentance during which we anticipate the joy of Easter by remembering the suffering and death of Jesus Christ. In this service our hope is to practice the habits of reflection, confession, repentance, and silence as we turn from our sin, deepen our understanding of our union with Christ and remember that our life comes through His death.
