On Good Friday, we remember the great sacrifice Christ made for us on the cross. These services are intentionally somber to reflect on the betrayal, arrest, torture and death of Jesus Christ. We mourn because it was our sin that took Christ to the cross. Yet, we call it Good Friday because in His death He accomplished victory over sin, Satan and death.
