Equipped to Counsel is a 22-week training course in the theology and practice of biblical counseling within the local church. This year we will break the course into two sessions, with the option of doing only the fall session. The course meets on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-9:00, from September 17-November 19. Those who wish to continue into the spring will meet for an additional 12 weeks beginning in February.
In the course we discuss the need for biblical counseling among believers, both for each other and for the world around us. We explore how God has designed each of His children to be ministers of reconciliation, and how we can step into that role in greater degrees by learning to counsel faithfully and graciously. The materials for the course cost $15, which will be paid at the time of registration. If you need help paying for your materials, please contact Beth Broom (bbroom@thevillagedenton.
