February 5, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Event Navigation
Join us as men and women from our church teach on how our God given relationships as brothers and sisters in Christ influences how we are to interact and date.
At the foundation, this class will build upon the central idea that we are first and foremost brothers and sisters in Christ called to love God and to love others.
The class will be taught by a team of men and women from our church both single and married. Each week you can expect to hear both the male and female perspective on the topic in order to give a comprehensive look at each topic. For a general preview of the class topics see the class outline below:
——————–
Week 1: Identity in Relationships
This week we will unpack the foundational idea that we are men and women created in the image of God, who are called to love as brothers and sisters in Christ in every relationship we have. This is a foundational week and essential to the rest of the class (You don’t want to miss this one!)
Week 2: The Stages of Relationship
This week we will look at the progression of a relationship from single and friends to engaged soon to be married. We will talk about red flags to take note of in dating.
Week 3: Too Much Too Soon
This week we will talk about how to walk in accountability in dating relationships as well as how to carefully grow in intimacy in dating. Specifically we will talk about healthy physical boundaries and emotional boundaries.
Week 4: What to look for
This week we will share personal stories of struggle in dating and what we were looking for in dating relationships. We will talk about how to break up well when the relationship comes to an end.
