Are you a parent of an incoming 1st grader?  At TVC Denton, 1st graders join their parents for the first half of our Sunday services before heading to Kids Village for elementary specific programming. This transition is a big one.

In our “Worshiping Together” Family Equipping Class, our elders and deacons will help equip parents on how to introduce their children to the practices and importance of church gatherings.The 3 classes are designed for parents and incoming 1st graders to participate in together.  Families with children in other grades are welcome to register and attend also.

Join us for a three-part class series where we will cover:

• July 7 – Part 1: Why do we gather as a church?
  Discover the purpose and beauty of church gatherings. Learn how to communicate this to your child in a way they will understand and appreciate.

• July 14 – Part 2: Reading the Bible with your child
  Gain practical tools and strategies for reading the Bible with your child.

•  July 21 – We will take a break on July 21 for Member’s Meeting. 

• July 28 – Part 3: Entering into the Sunday Gathering, Church Wide Prayer & Special Services
  Equip yourself and your child to participate fully in Sunday gatherings, church-wide prayer, and special services. Understand what to expect and how to engage.
