Sundays, June 22, June 29, & July 6 | 2:00–3:30 PM
Are you a parent of an incoming 1st grader? At TVC Denton, this milestone marks a new rhythm—1st graders begin attending the first part of our Sunday worship services with their parents before heading to Kids Village for age-specific programming. This transition is meaningful, and we want to help your family navigate it with joy and confidence.
In this three-week Family Equipping Class, our elders and deacons will help parents and kids grow in understanding the “why” behind our worship gatherings and prepare to worship side by side. Families will participate together each week, learning how to practice and embrace this new season.
Whether you’re new to TVC Denton or have older children making the same transition, all are welcome to attend.
Sessions will explore:
-
Why We Gather
Discover the purpose and beauty of worship gatherings and how to share that vision with your child. -
Opening the Word Together
Gain simple tools for reading and engaging the Bible with your child. -
Entering In
Learn how to prepare your child to participate in Sunday services, Church-Wide Prayer, and special gatherings.
