As a local house of worship, our City Council's mask mandate does not apply to our church since we are not a "commercial entity". However, our elders recognize the spirit of the concerns and in light of these concerns, we are strongly encouraging that attendees of our services wear a mask to our gatherings on Sundays.
Ministry to Children on Sundays
REGISTRATION UPDATE: Beginning November 14, we will no longer require registration for Little Village and Kids Village on Sunday morning. We recognize that this is a big change for our families and we are eager to learn how to serve them in days ahead. For questions about this, please email Tricia Vickers at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Both Little Village, our ministry to preschoolers, and Kids Village, our ministry to 1st-5th graders, are available at the 8:45 and 11:00 services. Our Little Village rooms open 15 minutes before the start of service, while 1st-5th graders who register for Kids Village attend the first portion of the Sunday service with their families in the sanctuary and then are dismissed to follow their leaders to Kids Village.
Our hope is that members and attendees would begin to attend services in person and gather with the body where possible. We will continue to host zoom services for those who are unable to make it to services for medical reasons but eventually we will remove Zoom as a public option on our website.
Our leadership will continue to assess the COVID situation in our area. If you would like to be on a list of those who are on zoom for health reasons, please email Roy Onyebetor.
