Facilities Manager
I was born in Detroit, Michigan, but moved around a lot as a kid—living in Maryland, San Antonio, and Houston. I grew up in a Christian home but came to saving faith in high school. I went to Texas A&M, where I met my wife, Jen, and then began an IT career in Houston. Our family grew quickly, with four kids arriving in four years.
In 2007, we moved to Flower Mound to be close to our extended family, and in 2015 we added a “bonus child” who has called our house home ever since. All five of the kids ended up at Texas A&M as well, so we are tried-and-true Aggies.
In 2019, we moved to Denton as empty nesters and have enjoyed every minute of living in this community. I then retired from corporate life and began working as the COO of a non-profit in Dallas.
In 2025, I was hired as the “very” part-time facilities manager. I find joy in having projects to do and am using every bit of my 30 years of experience as a homeowner to keep our church building running.
My hope is that this space where we gather to worship the risen Lord will feel like home to our members, a welcoming retreat for our guests, and a beacon for Christ in our community.
